An all inclusive liveaboard dive package (flights, all diving, food , bed, transfers, etc) is about £630 for a basic boat about £730 for a good boat. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know what you think over the next few days, so I can see whether to go ahead with this, or to look at a less exotic, but more economic destination. We'll be diving around a reef called the Manacles which is just 5 minutes offshore using the RIB from Porthkerris Dive Centre which is on the Lizard in deepest Cornwall. We've had many an enjoyable weekends diving at Porthkerris in the past. The cost is £12.50 per dive and we have the choice of camping, caravan or B&B for accomodation. After the success of last years trip, I’m organising another trip to the Medes Islands, Spain for one week w/c 14 September. Most of thed iving is fairly straightforward, so the trip will be open to all qualifiedm embers Club Diver and above and there are a maximum of 12 places available. Accommodation will be on terra-firma (for all you boat sickies out there - I'll include myself in that description!!) in luxury self catering apartments with a mere 10 minute hard boat journey to the various dives sites. Flights will be with Buzz from London Stansted to Gerona and the total cost including flights, transfers, accommodation and 10 dives will be £350.
