Scuba Diving in the UK

We all meet people on holiday who seem amazed that we dive in the UK. Well, perhaps they aren't amazed, but they do seem to accord you a little extra respect. It's okay, they seem to think, this 40m wreck penetration dive in a five knot current will be just fine for this guy - he dives in the UK!

Well, it isn't all rufty tufty blokes with stage cylinders doing long deco stops above deep wreck you know! It can be - if that's your thing - but it can also be gently drifting over sites full of life.

The first question a lot of people ask when they join - perhaps having trained in "kinder" conditions abroad - is "So what's it like? Diving in the UK?"

There is no simple answer other than "It's fantastic! Why else would we do it?" In this section of the site we've gathered together all of the trip write ups and photos from our trips around the UK in recent year. Have a browse through and enjoy.

If you are a UK diver - and you can sum up what UK diving is like in a single paragraph please do tell me - I'd like to publish it here!
