Four went to Eastbourne one sunny morning
We hunted bacon butties but none were forthcoming
We mooched around,
Unloaded our kit
Sat on a sunny pier
And just waited.....for Our W to appear
We didn't wait long
We loaded our gear
The skipper made some tea
We fondled our kit and chatted a bit
And sat down as we went out to sea
At 11 o'clock we all kitted up
The tide was low, (we were raring to go)
Dropped down the shot, into the dark that cleared the deeper we got.
The ship seemed quite large
She was covered in fish
Lobsters ran free in the hull
There were congers in knots all over the wreck
Deadmen's fingers fed in the current
Seven Seas sits upright at 42 metres
Her bow is intact but her hull filled with sand
After looking in holes and finding no treasure
The dive was over, completed as planned.
