Hellfins Diving Regulations
Paradoxically, diving is a potentially dangerous sport with a good safety
record. This is in part due to the rigorous training we receive as divers,
and also because of the safety-conscious way in which we go diving. With
this in mind all divers must abide by the following regulations:
-
All divers should read and understand BSAC's guide to "Safe Diving"
(http://www.bsac.org/page/141/safe-diving.htm). If you do not understand any
part of this guide you should ask the Diving Officer for clarification.
- All divers should inform the Diving Officer of any planned diving at the
earliest opportunity. After diving, they should submit brief records to the
Diving Officer. Note that BSAC no longer distinguishes between "club" and
"non-club" dives. (http://www.bsac.org/page/674/branch-dives.htm).
