Minutes, Budgets

The club has been in existence for longer than most of its members can remember and following a long period as part of Shell Oil’s 'Lensbury Club' is now forging ahead on its own as London Hellfins SAC. We are a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club but have many members who are affiliated and dive with other organisations like PADI, TDI and IANTD as well.

We meet at the swimming pool in the Shell Centre building, near London Waterloo, on a Wednesday night and then afterwards at The Duke of Sussex pub close by for a few drinks. The pool is available to members from 5:30pm.

We are fortunate to have a wide diversity of divers within the branch with two national instructors, a number of advanced instructors and divers, dive leaders, Sports and Ocean Divers and a healthy number of trainees coming up. New members will always find someone with similar diving interests.

Apart from the Shell swimming pool which is perfect for dive training, we have always been lucky in having a good stock of pool and open-water equipment for use by the members in addition to a well maintained RIB which is kept permanently on the south coast.

Trips to new sites are a big part of the clubs dive calendar and recent seasons have included southern France, Norway, the Scilly Isles, the Medas Islands, Cyprus, Chuk and even Stoney Cove (once). Why not take a look at this year's calendar.
